This book was initially written to cover the S5 Intermediate 1 course which was an alternative to the S3/4 General course, but is now also being use with pupils in S3/4 and even with those in S2 and a precursor to starting the Intermediate 2, Credit or CfE National 5 course in S3. Again it is bright and encouraging, contains assessments along the way and includes a specimen exam paper.- It is in full colour. - It contains many graded examples for pupils practice allowing them to hopefully build up their confidence.- The book contains a Chapter 0, revising primarily the entire content of 5-14 Level D.- Each chapter contains a "What have I learned" exercise. - Each unit (Maths 1, 2 and 3) has a revision section and a specimen NAB.- Non-calculator exercises included in each unit. - On-going cumulative home exercises built into the course as a further means of consolidation. - A Specimen Intermedia
